Types of PLAR offered: Course specific.
Credit award limits: For certificate, diploma, advanced diploma, and graduate certificate programs, no more than 75% of program credits can be obtained through recognition of prior learning. For degree programs, no more than 50% of program credits can be obtained through recognition of prior learning.
Assessment methods: Centennial College uses two methods to assess PLAR, portfolio assessments and challenge assessments.
