The 2026 ONCAT Conference features two dynamic days of programming, each with a specific focus and format.
February 3 and 4, 2026
Day One (Tuesday, February 3) — Scanning the horizon
A vibrant program of panels, presentations, and keynotes will highlight recent trends and insights related to learner mobility, as well as identify future opportunities to implement promising practices and scale innovative solutions.
By connecting perspectives across the postsecondary sector — including registrar and transfer offices, student support services, senior administrators, policymakers and more — the day will provide an overview of strategic priorities and practical considerations for enhancing learner mobility in Ontario. The February 3 sessions are designed to spark conversations that will shape institutional planning, inspire new activities and foster sector-wide partnerships.
Day Two (Wednesday, February 4) — Charting the course
Through collaborative workshops and interactive labs, participants can engage directly with existing practices, tools and pathways and even develop a blueprint for improving learner mobility at their own institution.
By facilitating opportunities for colleagues to work together — exploring new digital tools or creating ready-to-use pathways and programs — the day will identify administrative efficiencies that help institutions save time and resources. The February 4 sessions are intended to accelerate the implementation of transfer and learner mobility practices, making the day not just a professional development experience for participants, but a productive investment for institutions.
