About the Project:

The Business Fundamentals Integrated Project (the Project) is a collaboration of the four universities and six colleges situated in Northern Ontario. A co-registration initiative, this pathway will allow a student to graduate with a university degree in select disciplines, such as Arts and Social Sciences, while simultaneously earning a one-year college certificate in Business Fundamentals. In the same time it takes a student to earn a Bachelor of Honours degree, they will be able to earn a degree and a certificate to prepare them for a variety of employment options. Students will graduate being more qualified and more equipped for the job market with both a university degree and a college certificate. This Project is spearheaded by the Northern Ontario Steering Committee (NOSC).

NOSC is a group made up of representatives from the four Northern Ontario Universities, six Northern Ontario Colleges and members of the the Ontario Council on Articulation and Transfer (ONCAT). NOSC’s goal is to expand, develop and enhance pathways/opportunities for students to study and stay in the North.

NOSC is searching for a Project Lead to serve as a consultant to take the Project from concept to implementation.

To achieve this goal, the Project Lead position will be a six month contract position ending June 30, 2019. The Project Lead will report directly to the NOSC Executive Committee (EC).

Compensation for this contract position (ending June 30, 2019) will be up to $35,000.
