Heads of Transfer Advising (HOTA)
HOTA is comprised of 8-10 seasoned transfer advising professionals from colleges and universities across the province. HOTA meets monthly and works closely with ONCAT to build capacity and efficiency in transfer advising, both at individual institutions, and across the broader system. HOTA contributes to knowledge mobilization and professional development activities that support the wider Transfer Advisor Group (TAG).
Transfer Advisors Group (TAG)
TAG is a community of transfer advising professionals from across Ontario, who share promising practices in the world of transfer and prior learning and support each other to achieve the best outcomes for students. TAG members gain access to shared resources, regular lunch and learns, and professional development events.
Northern Ontario Steering Committee (NOSC)
NOSC is comprised of two members from each of our Norther institutions (colleges, universities, and Indigenous institutes). The “north” is defined as any institutions north of Barrie. This group comes together quarterly to collaborate on integrated strategies to create pathways and enhance institutional collaborations amongst Northern Ontario institutions. NOSC focusses on encouraging innovative ideas and dialogue to support students in the North.
