In 2026, Fanshawe College developed a suite of practical tools to support faculty conducting Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR). Known as the PLAR Toolkit, these documents provide a step-by-step approach to the tasks required for each PLAR application at Fanshawe College. The resource can be used and adapted by faculty and staff at other postsecondary institutions.
